Tails & Ales

Bourbonnais Township Park District knows how important dogs are and this special event is just for them.  Prizes, raffles, music, and doggie treats of all kinds will be on hand for your dog and well as beverages and concessions for their people.

Fee: $5 per carload


While you are at Tails & Ales please stop by the raffle table next to the admission area. Baskets & dog realted prizes will be raffels off thoughout the event. Raffle tickets are $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00.

Winners do not need to be present to win and winners will be picked throughout the event; all prizes must be picked up before 8pm or prizes will be available for pick-up for up to 30 days at:

Willowhaven Nature Center
Tuesday-Friday between the hours of 9:00 am- 4:00 pm
1st and 3rd weekends of the month - Saturdays 9am-4pm, Sundays 12-4pm.

Vendors & Concessions

Unwind at the dog park with refreshements by Grapes & Hops. If you are feeling hungry, concessions will be onsite selling refreshments as well!

For any groups looking to host an activity or infomation booth can apply for a vendor permit. Please see below for link to vendor application and details.

2019 Tails & Ales Vendor Application

Vendor applications can be printed up and sent in to our administrative office at 459 N Kennedy Drive in Bourbonnais, IL 60914 or dropped off to the Willowhaven Nature Center at 1451 N 4000E Road in Kankakee. Any mailed forms ust be sent to the main administrative office.

All dogs must be controlled on a leash six feet long or less. Retractable leashes are allowed as long as they are locked at six feet or less. Dogs do not have to be on leash inside of dog park.

All animal waste must be pick-up and disposed of in a waste receptacle. Plastic baggies are available at no charge at the event front gate as well as at the Dog Park Entrance

All dogs must be healthy and up to date on shots to participate at Tails & Ales.  

Unruly or aggressive dogs will be asked to leave the event.

Please remember to comply with the park's mandatory leash law outside of the Dog Park and waste removal rules.

Anyone younger than 21 years old will not allowed inside of the Dog Park event area.
