Summer Camp

Kids excited about learningGive your child a memorable summer by enrolling them in BTPD Summer Camp! Daily activities and field trips will be planned by caring and experienced staff.

Campers will develop skills and knowledge in leisure activities including, sports, arts & crafts, games and nature. They will develop social skills and assist in the development of a positive self-image. We aim to have kids interact, learn and grow from these engaging hands-on experiences.

BTPD Day Camp runs 10 weeks, from June through August, from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. BTPD summer camp is for children 5 – 12 years old. Five year old’s must be entering First Grade to enroll in Summer Camp.

Registration Information

Summer 2025 Camp Registrations begins April 1, 2025. Please visit one of our BTPD facilities to complete the initial registration. A registration packet and a fee of $40 are due at the time of registration.

Weekly Rate Fee is $155.00 for residents/$170.00 for non-residents.

To guarantee your spot, you must register and pay the $40 non-refundable registration fee per camper in person. Once registered, you can log into your online account or register at one of the BTPD facilities and select the weeks your camper(s) will attend camp. You must pre-register for the weeks your camper(s) attend camp Thursday by 3:00 pm the week prior.

Drop Off & Pick Up

Camp early drop-off from 6:30 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. at the Exploration Station on Perry Farm Park.

From 4:00 – 6:00 p.m., camp pick-up is at the Perry Farm Park Pavilion. In the event of rain, camp pick-up may be at the Bradley West gym, Recreation Station, or Exploration Station.

There is a flat fee of $10 a week with either program

Summer Camp FAQs

  1. Will you be taking field trips this year?
    Yes! Baseball games, zoo, children’s theme parks, family entertainment centers, and more are planned for the summer. Be sure to check out our 3 month camp calendar. Camp T-shirts are required to be worn for all field trips.
  2. Can I register online?
    The initial registration has to be done in person, as the required paperwork is due at the time of registration. After the initial registration, you can register your child for the weeks they will be at camp online or in person at any of our facilities.
  3. When can I enroll my child for the weeks they will be attending camp?
    Registration for camp ends at 3:00 pm the Thursday before the week they attend. Due to staff ratios, we must have campers registered in advance.
  4. Is there a discount for registering for the whole summer?
    Unfortunately, registration for the whole summer is not discounted.
  5. Will you provide transportation if my child attends summer school?
    No, we do not have this service available for 2025.
  6. If I register my child for camp and they are sick, will I be refunded for that week?
    Cancellations and refunds are on a case-by-case basis. If your child is sick, we do require a doctor’s note for consideration of a refund.
  7. When does my child have to be registered?
    Enrollment ends at 3:00 pm on Thursdays for the following week. We staff our summer camp according to our attendance numbers. If your child is registered by the 3:00 pm deadline on Thursdays, we can guarantee a space for your child. After the deadline, a late fee of $15 per child will be applied.
  8. When will camp end?
    Camp runs through mid August.
